Welcome to Sunbury

Sunbury is a beautiful town located approximately 45 minutes north west of Melbourne in Victoria, Australia. With the Wurundjeri people being the Traditional Custodians of this Land, the Sunbury area is home to the Bora rings, also known as Sunbury’s Earth Rings, which were previously used as ceremonial gathering places by the Wurundjeri and other tribes.

Sunbury is a popular town increasing massively in growth due to its close vicinity to Melbourne City, easy access to the Melbourne Airport, and amazingly close access to some of Victoria’s most beautiful parks, forests and spa country.

Surrounded and twining through Sunbury are beautiful Parks and waterways, grasslands and eroded volcanic hills. With the Yarra river winding through the centre of the town, Sunbury incorporates a thriving suburban population, with great retail and community groups, and serene parklands to create a perfectly balanced place to live. This bustling hub of commerce with amazing dining, easily accessible cinema’s, and your usual array of major retailers, it is also home to plenty of family owned & operated businesses makes you know your dollar is going back into the local community.

The activities are an upside for this town too. It has a fantastic public BMX track and Skate park, Men’s and Women’s Football, Basketball, Tennis, Swimming, Golf clubs, and is the “Home of the Ashes”. There is a public pool, global learning centre with tourist information and many walking paths and running tracks. There is a fully fenced Dog park and plenty of off leash areas, some with picnic areas so you can take the whole family for a day out.
